My Design Approach☕

I like to think of instructional design as equal parts strategy and creativity. I use the ADDIE model as my foundation—it helps me stay focused and intentional at every step. But I also bring my experience as an educator into the mix, which means I’m always thinking about the learner first.

Every project starts with a clear learning goal. From there, I map out the experience: What’s the best way to organize the content? How will learners show what they’ve learned? What moments can I make more engaging or interactive? Whether I’m building an eLearning course or a quick-reference job aid, I’m always working to design something that feels purposeful, intuitive, and helpful.

At the end of the day, my goal is simple: build learning that makes sense, makes an impact, and maybe even makes someone smile.
